Key Job Functions:
- Handles all inbound sales opportunities from call ins, referral partners, and online leads.
- Prospects company generated lead lists.
- Takes initial application and enters information into our company comparative rating system.
- Finishes quote(s) per company guidelines and prepares a personalized quote proposal.
- Presents insurance options to prospect via phone as well as via our video quote proposal process.
- Enters and keeps up to date active prospects and new clients in company CRM.
- Establishes rapport and asks open ended discovery questions.
- Discovers and presents cross sale opportunities
- Assists in gathering all information needed to bind and finish closing new accounts
- Meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Keeps up to date on new insurance carrier offerings and training
- Maintains a good workplace attendance record.
- Documents all material conversations with insureds and/or carriers regarding exposures and coverages.
- Assists in maintaining relationships with referral partners.
- Performs other functions as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma required, and college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must have active Iowa personal lines license or the ability to obtain with 30 days of hire
- 1-3 years of sales experience is preferred.
- Must possess ability to use personal computer, calculator, agency management system, and proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Fast-paced office setting with a multi-tasking work environment. Ability to be a part of a progressive team is vital.
